I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the hard work that you've put into Hemi's training. Your training atmosphere is very comfortable as well as your personality. Hemi has been taking your classes since he was 8 weeks old and now he's almost 8 months old. That's hard to believe! Although your facility will soon be closed while your new one is being prepared to open, we will be back again. Hemi looks forward to his one-day a week training day at Custom Canine. We can't wait to see your new facility anad begin working again!

Phyllis, just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that all of your hard work was well worth it. Zane is a different dog thanks to you. We could not be any more pleased with your work and would recommend you to anyone. Thanks for all you have done for all of us. It is truly a joy to have a Doberman, especially one that will sit, stay, come and walk on a leash. If we should ever think about another one you will be the first we call.

Sugar is a great little Shitzu. She was, however, over protective of her "MOM" . She was TOO GOOD A WATCH DOG. but fortunately for her and her family she was quick to learn to be a more tolerant dog. She enrolled in our in-home classes for behavior and obedience and in four lessons (1 lesson each week for 4 weeks) she became the perfect pet!.

THe Chapas have worked diligently to train Lady. She was enrolled in our private lesson program. Four lessons equals 4 weeks training. She can sit,down,stay will not run out out the gate of her dog area until told, and of course come. YOU pick what you would like to teach your dog, and it can be behavior and/or obedience.

Guidelines for purchasing a new puppy:
1. Pick a breed that is compatible with your lifestyle. Do your homework.
2. Ask the breeder questions?
a. Do you belong to any clubs, ex. Obedience clubs, breed clubs, working dog clubs, herding clubs?
b. Are your dogs registered with AKC? (there are other breed registries, but AKC is the only one that you should insist on.)
c. Do you show your dogs?
d. Do you do health testing? VERY IMPORTANT
You will pay for what you get. It will vary, but if the breeder does not care enough to put out the effort to health test the breeding stock, you are taking a big risk and may PAY for it later.
