My name is Phyllis McNaughton and I have been training dogs for 30 + years. I train all breeds, obedience training for "life" and for show. Problem dogs? No problem! .
Custom Canine is not a kennel. We run our training from our home. Your dog becomes a member of our family for his stay here. We believe it is less traumatic for the dog to be trained in this atmosphere(we have had a boarding/training facility in Waxahachie.)We only take one-two puppies/dogs at a time for training so that we can devote as much time as is needed to keep your puppy/dog happy and learning.

Need help housebreaking or with puppy behavior? Reserve a spot with us before it is too late. Puppies should be about 11-12 weeks before we will take them for housebreaking. We occasionally have a cancellation, so don't lose out. We will put you on the waiting list if need be.

House breaking :
Minimum of 14 days @ 12.00 per day Includes crate training and some basic commands. We can begin after your puppy has all his puppy shots.
Pre-pay 1/2 up front, balance due when puppy is brought back home. Pick up and delivery is included in pricing.
Don't wait until your dog is 6 months old to decide you need help. The earlier you get help, the quicker it is to correct the problem.
Don't want to leave your dog? Ask about a one time behavior modification visit. But, be prepared to do some things you may not want to take the time to do. Housebreaking is not always easy. It definitely is a labor of love. Cost: $60.00 for any single "in home visit"

Can you afford the cost of in-kennel training? (Your dog will be with us for two - three weeks) WHAT IS IN -KENNEL TRAINING? YOUR DOG RECEIVES MULTIPLE TRAINING SESSIONS PER DAY AND WILL ACCOMPLISH IN 2 - 3 WEEKS WHAT NORMALLY TAKES 6-12 WEEKS.
WHY CHOOSE US FOR YOUR TRAINING NEEDS? 1. We are small, and only take a maximum of two dogs at any one time for in-kennel training, so your dog will receive maximum attention.
For housebreaking puppies, we only accept 1 puppy at a time. 2. Your dog is trained by one-certified trainer, not two or three. Your extended training is provided by that same trainer, so there is continuity of training methods. 3. If your dog is use to being "a house dog" he will be kept inside. If he is an "outside" dog, he will be housed outside: Not your typical kennel experience. We will be your dogs "home away from home".
4. Your extended training is FREE for the life of your dog. Extended training includes one private session (when we return the dog to you), additional "board n train" at any time.
